YEAR 4

ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION

Unit 4&5- Conservation Agriculture
These sessions cover land management techniques that help farmers work on very steep sloped farm land. These techniques include erosion control technologies (contouring, terracing, and living fences) and soil conditioning techniques such as mulching ect.
Floresta staffs are always available to help with troubleshooting of techniques, and any follow-up questions they may have.

FFS Trials
This is something of a catch-all activity for much of the training that participants receive.

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

Module 2, 3 & 7. Crop productivity, Animal productivity, Crop and Animal diseases and Pest management.

-Participants are taught amazing crop diversity of Gods creation, how to choose cropping system that produce abundance while protecting diversity, determine how they can honor God through the utilization of His diversity in creation to produce abundance.

-Participants are taught best ways of caring animals regrading God command. Also participants are taught on animal disease and pest management to both crops and animals.

-Moreover livestock keepers has to know animal needs and take care for them as Good shepherd.
-Establishment of garden and trials regarding training provided to participants

Business management & entrepreneurship
Participants are taught about Entrepreneurship skills how to develop a business idea, how to choose a project, market plan and how to deal with competition in the market

YEAR 5

ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION

Unit 6-working at watershed level
Unit six carries important watershed concept which were not covered in year one, such as whole Ecosystem health, FMNR, bee keeping, seed harvesting. This topic needs to be thoroughly understood for program sustanability.

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

Module 8 & 9. Agriculture labour and Income generation.

-Participants are taught importance of engaging whole community in production activities. This including men, women and children. All of them are responsible to engage in production. Therefore management of labour should be done with love, respect and dignity because all people were created in Gods image.

-Participants are taught different methods of income generation in order to get out of poverty. Participants has to know that we are responsible to work in order to get food and survive. Through working participants will earn capital which will be used in open of small project, start small business and livestock management.

YEAR 6

ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION

Animal Husbandry
Floresta Tz focuses primarily on poultry and goat projects. Training for these projects incorporates both theory and practice, and goes over the proper management of these animals. Management techniques include disease control, nutrition, and how to construct shelter and shade structures for the animals. PWP TZ helps participants procure goats through the direct awarding of four goats to winning community members. Floresta Tz requires recipients of these goats to distribute the offspring to other members of their community in order to advance the scope of the project.

Floresta staff is available to help with troubleshooting of techniques, and any follow-up questions they may have.

Module 11, 10 & 12. Sharing Agricultural Bounty, Working with Neighbor and Investing in the future.

-Participants are taught the relationship between production and tithing, honoring God with the first fruits of harvesting, how to budget income from farming, remind on Gods love to us, serving the poor, demonstrate our love for God by giving to Him and people in need.

-Participants are taught to understand who is my neighbor in a biblical ways so that farmers might share and work together with others in a way that honors God. They are also taught to realize the value of having good neighbor because many things can easily go wrong and helps is always needed; so having good neighbor can help in any time of need.

-Moreover participants are taught to build hope through planting tree for this generation and coming generation.
